Jobbli ("Jobbli," "we," "us," or "our") operates jobbli.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Jobbli, you agree to the practices described here.
Two commitments we hold ourselves to:
We do not sell or distribute your personal information. We don't share your resume, profile, or any personal data with third parties for advertising, marketing lists, or resale, ever.
We only collect what's actually needed to provide the Service. We don't request or store information beyond what's required to score your fit, personalize your results, and process billing. If a piece of information isn't necessary for Jobbli to work, we don't ask for it.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely and hashed, we never store your password in plain text).
Resume and career information: your uploaded resume, and any information you provide in your profile, including career goals, target roles and industries, work and location preferences, salary expectations, soft skills, and any other context you choose to share.
Job descriptions you submit: text you paste in or send to Jobbli to be scored, whether typed manually, sent via the Score It bookmarklet, or selected from job listings on our site.
Usage information: the jobs you've scored, cover letters and interview guides generated, and general activity on your account, used to enforce plan limits and improve the product.
Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. Jobbli does not receive or store your full card number.
Technical and analytics information: standard web analytics (such as pages visited and general location by IP) collected through Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, used to understand how the site is used, not to identify you personally.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
• Generate your job fit scores, gap analysis, rewritten resume summaries, cover letters, and interview preparation guides
• Personalize results based on your profile and resume
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send account-related emails, such as confirmations and service updates
• Maintain and improve the Service, and fix problems when they come up
• Understand overall usage patterns to guide what we build next
3. How your information is processed by AI
To generate your fit score, gap analysis, rewritten summary, cover letter, and interview prep, your resume and the job description you're scoring are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This is how the analysis and writing are actually generated. Anthropic processes this information to return results to Jobbli and does not use it to train its models. We do not sell your resume or personal information to any third party for advertising or other purposes.
4. Who we share information with
We work with a small number of service providers to operate Jobbli, each of whom only receives what they need to do their specific job:
• Supabase — database hosting and account authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI processing, as described above
• Vercel — website and application hosting
• Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics — website usage analytics
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse of the Service.
5. Job listings from third-party sources
Jobbli displays job listings sourced from third-party providers, including Adzuna, USAJOBS, and Jooble. These listings are provided by those third parties and Jobbli is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or content. Clicking to apply on a listing will take you to the original source, where that site's own privacy practices will apply.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information and history for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep certain records (such as billing history) for legal or accounting purposes.
7. Your rights and choices
You can:
• Access, update, or correct your profile and resume at any time from your account
• Delete your resume or profile information directly within the app
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (like keeping you signed in) and for analytics (understanding how the site is used). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect how the Service works.
9. Children's privacy
Jobbli is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
